Trey Schucker Is Dealing With a Busy Schedule

By Trey Schucker on Thursday, November 11, 2010

This week was pretty busy for me. I applied to Arkansas State University and got my school counselor to send some of my academic records to them. I haven’t gotten senioritis, but I have kind of fallen a little behind in my school work the past week and a half. It’s just been one of those weeks where you feel like there is so much to do and not enough time to do it.

Applying to Arkansas State did take some pressure off of me though. All I have to do now is pay the $15 application fee.

Pre-Calculus and Physics have been pretty tough on me lately. We just started new chapters in both subjects, and I feel like I know nothing in either subject right now.

My football team is in the playoffs so we have been preparing for that. I get home from practice around 5:30 p.m. and it’s been hard to get all of my homework done and still have a life. I have been going in at lunch and getting my teachers to help me out a little more on my subjects. At Clarksville High School, we really have some great teachers that are there for the students.

I am taking the Dec. 11 ACT test. I have been wanting to study for it since this will be the last time to take it as a senior, but lately I haven’t had time because of my school work. I know that I will get through everything OK. My physics teacher told me a quote today that helped me out a little. He said, “The hardest part is getting started.”
