My summer started off by going to Boys State, which was a great opportunity and a fantastic experience. If you get the chance to go to Boys or Girls State, you should definitely try it out.

I didn’t meet a single person who didn’t have a good time. I met a lot of great people from many different areas around Arkansas while learning a lot about Arkansas economy and education. I am still keeping in touch with some of the guys from my county.

I also went on a seven-day Royal Caribbean cruise. My whole family had a blast together. We went to Coco Cay, St. Thomas and St. Maarten.

And throughout the summer I went to football camps at the University of Arkansas, University of Central Arkansas, Arkansas State University, Louisiana State University, University of Mississippi and the University of Tulsa. I really want to play football in college and I am getting a few looks from a few colleges around the state, along with some from Arkansas border states.
