The first day of school was the first day of school. I didn’t feel excited AT ALL! I mean we did have a senior breakfast that was fun, and we got to wear our senior gold skirts!

But the first day of school was plain. It was like the excitement was gone. I knew where all my classes were, where my friends and I would eat lunch and what clubs I was going to join. Also, I know that the workload is not going to be fun!

ALL of my teachers, and I do mean all, gave me loads and loads of homework, plus I have a job! So much to do! I know that I can handle it though. I just have to use my handy dandy agenda this year.

The first day of school made me think of the first day of college. Will I know anybody? Will I be in a different state? Will my roommate be nice? So many things to think about; and the crazy thing is that this is going to be happening in a few months.
