What does a carpenter do?
Carpenters build products from wood and other materials to create structures and frameworks. Carpenters typically work in construction, but they can also work independently.

- Select appropriate wood and other supplies
- Renovate and remodel structures, including houses, businesses or individual spaces or rooms
- Measure and manipulate wood and other materials with tools

Everything that goes into it. It’s not just pouring a slab of concrete and putting a building on it. We have to make sure a building doesn’t collapse in on itself.
