The Ridin’ Around Show Rewrites Arkansas Sports Media

Being the son of former NFL Green Bay Packer
and Razorback Charles Washington, Noah has always had an interest in sports media. Inspired by his love for football and multimedia entertainment during the rise of podcasts, he launched “The Ridin’ Around Show” in 2022 where he plays karaoke and interviews Arkansas athletes, musicians and public figures while driving luxury cars in Fayetteville.
“I knew I had access to athletes that I could interview,” Noah said. “So I built the show that I wish existed. [I] Invested the money, tested it and kept going.”
His favorite aspect of the show is developing personal connections with his guests. The lively atmosphere of the interviews and the genuine guests create a unique experience for sports fans. Noah also loves riding around in new cars, thanks to his sponsors, and listening to music with his favorite local celebrities in Northwest Arkansas.
“I’m a people person, so hosting the guests comes naturally,” Noah said. “Outside of having a superstar guest, the cars and music are what excite me the most.”
He is currently completing his journalism degree at the University of Arkansas. His goals for the show include expanding to interview out-of-state guests and reaching an audience outside
of Arkansas.
“Start with the thing you have the best chance of success at initially, then pivot to something you may like more once you have some success and experience,” Noah said. “It’s what helped me get clarity on pursuing the show when I wasn’t really sure of my path. It gave me confidence in starting with what I thought was the best bet for success, and that I wasn’t stuck with it, but
I needed to take action regardless of emotions and thoughts.”
As technology advances into creative careers, he urges
young entrepreneurs to highlight their skills and talents to achieve success.
“The best way to do that is through entrepreneurship and building your own brand,” Noah said.
