What does a carpenter do?
Carpenters build products from wood and other materials to create structures and frameworks. Carpenters typically work in construction, but they can also work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Use plans and blueprints to fulfill the requests of a client
  • Select appropriate wood and other supplies
  • Renovate and remodel structures, including houses, businesses or individual spaces or rooms
