Central Arkansas Students: Loan & Scholarship Info Series At Maumelle Library

Hey, central Arkansas students -- the Maumelle Public Library is holding a free two-part college prep series at 1 p.m. Aug. 4 and 11 a.m. Sept. 29.
The first part in the series, "Prepare Your Family for College: Budgeting, Student Loans, and What Parents Should Know," will be presented by Sarah Catherine Gutierrez of S.C. Financial Care. She will discuss budgeting strategies and insight on student loans.
The second session, "College Scholarships: Hints and Tips," will be presented by Crystal Snider of the Central Arkansas Library System's Reference Department. She will explain how to get scholarships using the library's many databases and reference resources.
