Meet The Pro: Bryan Rosas, Welder
By Arkansas Next on Friday, October 10, 2025

Hometown: Little Rock
Age: 19
Higher Education: Class B Welder Training
Job Title: Welder
Employer: Lexicon, Inc.
Bryan Rosas first discovered his love for welding during his junior year at Southwest High School through classes at Metropolitan Technical School. While many students were unsure of their future, Bryan felt an immediate connection with the craft.
“I loved the trade and felt passionate about it,” Bryan said. “I just knew I wanted to weld for a living.”
Now, as a full-time welder at Lexicon, Bryan spends his days welding, grinding, drilling and assisting others, all while making safety a top priority. Though the job has its challenges, like working in tight spaces, he finds fulfillment in the discipline and dedication the trade demands.
“The rewarding parts [of my job] include the dedication I have for the career, the respect, the discipline and the gratitude of being part of Lexicon,” Bryan said.

For Bryan, this hands-on career path made more sense than a traditional four-year college. With Class B welder training under his belt and real-world experience in the field, he’s gaining valuable skills while building financial stability. He encourages students to consider welding not just as a job, but as a rewarding career.
“College isn’t for everybody,” Bryan said. “Trade schools are a good option too… you could benefit yourself from working in this field and working on yourself as well.”
At just 19 years old, Bryan Rosas of Little Rock is already forging a path of success in one of Arkansas’ most in-demand industries. As a welder for Lexicon, Bryan brings passion, precision and purpose to every weld, and he’s just getting started.
