Hometown: Glen Rose
Age: 24

Where I trained: Glen Rose High School

Where I earned: High school diploma

Job title: Finish dozer operator
Employer: McGeorge Contracting Company

Joe Marsischky was excited to garner experience in a trade. He graduated from Glen Rose High School with a diploma and that was all the education he needed to start in this field. He loves getting to operate the equipment he uses to move and level the dirt for foundations for building roads, apartment complexes, subdivisions and more. He doesn’t think people give dirt work enough credit in the construction industry, but it is essential to have a sturdy foundation.

Joe likes that he can provide for his family without having to go into student loan debt. He has a house, a nice truck and loves his family and his hobbies.

"I like that I'm able to build stuff, roads, apartment complexes, subdivisions. People don't understand how important dirt work is in the construction industry." – Joe
