Inside the 2014 Issue of Arkansas Next: A Guide to Life After High School

By Lindsay Irvin on Monday, September 16, 2013

Students, teachers, guidance counselors and parents, we are excited to present our latest (and what we think is our greatest) edition of Arkansas Next: A Guide to Life After High School.

If you've read Arkansas Next before, you know we're the go-to resource for students in the state, helping them choose a college, pick a major, find financial aid, and so much more. (If you haven't, well, now you do.)

What we love most about the 2014 issue is that it is noticably different. We ripped out the excess information that would bore you or that you don't need and beefed up the sections you really need to pay attention to. For instance, the Financial Aid section reveals many new ways to get your college paid for; and we take you behind the scenes of a college campus — revealing what's it really like to go Greek, how to study abroad, the students you'll meet on campus and the hidden gems at every college that you should seek out.

Of course, we still have our ACT/SAT prep, quizzes, cool major ideas, tips for getting and making the most of your internships, as well as the biggest and best list of colleges in Arkansas. Our Arkansas college catalog tells you where they're located, how much they cost, how to get financial aid if you choose to go there, and who to call at the admissions department.

Want a copy? Arkansas Next 2014 is available through your schools' guidance counselors for grades 8, 9, 11 and 12, you can purchase a copy online ($5) or you can view the digital edition anytime you want.

Assistant Editor Sam Smith and I hope you love the new issue as much as we love creating it for you!

Enjoy,

Lindsay Irvin
Editor
